We prepare journalists who don't just report the news — they understand its deeper context and long-term implications for society.

▶ 2026 Flagship Initiative

Land Care Radio Programme

Our most ambitious undertaking yet — the Land Care Radio Programme is YFJN's flagship 2026 initiative designed to develop female broadcast journalists specialising in environmental and agricultural reporting.

Nigeria's land, environment, and climate stories are under-reported and under-represented. YFJN is training the journalists who will change that.

Why It Matters

Female journalists who can translate complex environmental issues into compelling, accessible broadcast content are urgently needed across Nigeria's radio landscape.
